Gala Dinner for Fly2Help May 2014:

Hi Greg,

The Gala Dinner went absolutely fantastically, thank you so much again for your support of it, both in terms of your donation and your design work for us. It’s been brilliant to have your support all through the year, and I’m absolutely thrilled that you’re planning a repeat of the auction for the Revival this year.

I’ve attached a picture of the winners with the prize.

We raised £500 from Bang-On, which was a really fantastic amount, particularly when compared with many other prizes. It was very popular and I’m sure will be very well received by the aviation community.

I thought you might to know what we’ve achieved so far this year so you can feel confident that your donation will make a real difference:
– We have given Air Smiles Days to nearly 300 people, doubling our number from 2012/13
– We have introduced aviation as a career for 56 young people through our Aim High Programme, a five-fold increase on 2012/13
– We have introduced Air Smiles Days at 9 airfields, and have 4 operating independently with volunteer Team Leaders – far exceeding our strategic plan target of 5 new airfields and 2 operating independently
– We have slashed our overhead costs, securing free office accommodation, free landline and broadband and reducing all unnecessary expenditure, saving at least 20% of our 2012/13 overhead expenditure.

Your support for fly2help enables us to reach further, aim higher and reach more people than ever before. We’re all really looking forward to the year ahead, and hoping to break even more records!

Best wishes,
Felicia

Chief Executive Officer

UPDATE: British Petroleum (BP) have very kindly increased the final bid to well over £1000.
